Amazon.com - Sometimes too fast.

Amazon.com has been great at always coming up with ways for enabling users to quickly and easily purchase products. I like it, it's painless–no forms to fill out, no credit card numbers to enter, no security codes to find. Amazon likes it, they don't give you much time to re-think your purchase. However it all backfired on me the other day.

I wanted to purchase the book "Sense: The Art and Science of Creating Lasting Brands" by Lippincott Mercer. Check it out here: http://www.lippincott.com/insights/talking_sense.shtml
I am not really sure what happened but I think I clicked on the "Add to Shopping Cart" but then I got a "Thank You" for purchasing message. Well, hmm, I thought ok fine no problem, done deal. But 2 days later I received an email from the 3rd party vendor confirming that they had shipped the order - however they shipped it to the last shipping address I had used on Amazon which happened to be my friends who just got married (I had bought them a wedding present). So they got the book, I didn't. It seems to be a small UI oversight in the one-click checkout. I went back and now the address book was set up as one-click settings, I am still trying to figure out how to change the priority of the addresses.
